We offer FREE English as a Second Language classes for adults who need to understand, speak, read and write the English language. Currently all classes are available via distance learning.

Placement Testing

E.S.L.-Intermediate & Advanced       TTh                    8:30am-11:30am

The objective of the ESL intermediate/ advanced class is to teach reading and writing using appropriate format and structure for different purposes and to improve the reading comprehension. Students will learn the rules of grammar and be able to apply what they learned to their daily lives. Students will also be able to use common high frequency words and phrases in reading contexts and writing.

Evening Classes

E.S.L.-Intermediate      Wednesdays        5:30pm-8:00pm

E.S.L.-Advanced            Thursdays                   5:30pm-8:00pm

Morning classes:  

ESL Listening & Speaking      Wednesdays                      8:30am-10:00am

This class is designed for adults who need to improve their basic skills in listening and speaking with an emphasis on fluency and vocabulary development.

ESL Reading & Writing           Wednesdays                    10:00am-11:30am

This class is designed for adults who need to improve their basic skills such as reading comprehension and grammar. Students will learn to write complex sentences and paragraphs to prepare students for the High School Diploma program and/or GED writing test.
